My therapeutic style is rooted in Existential, Gestalt, and mindfulness based theories.  That means that I want to get to know your unique experience and its affects on your relationship with yourself and others.  Feelings arise to force us to pay attention to a legitimate need that isn't getting met.  Acting on our own behalf to learn to be aware and proactive, will minimize discomfort and allow for more pleasant experiences.  Everyone has the capacity to heal and become more satisfied with their life.
 
Therapy is an opportunity to make meaning out of challenges, and find purpose in your life.  It is a way to unburden yourself and your relationships, by having a safe place to learn and grow.
